Contact insertion
Grasp the crimped contact approximately one inch behind the contact barrel.

Hold the connector with the rear grommet facing you.

Push the contact straight through the grommet until it clicks into place. Gently tug the wire to confirm that it is locked.

After all contacts are seated, insert the orange wedgelock until it snaps into place.
Contact removal
Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry the orange wedgelock straight out.

Gently pull the wire backward while using a small screwdriver to move the locking finger away from the contact.

Hold the rear seal in place while withdrawing the contact so the seal is not displaced.
Wedgelock reference
After reassembly, confirm that the wedgelock is fully seated as shown.
